Dear family : We are on the down side before we go to Huntsman. He is doing pretty well but is still feeling weak. I think he was expecting too much. He is still going to work everyday but has had to take a nap at Jennifer's to finish the day. He is afraid that when we go to Huntsman they will tell him he is too weak for the surgery but I believe if he is still working and walking etc., he is doing fine. I wanted him to have the hospital here check his blood to see if there was something making him weak so he called them and the nurse said for him to take a walk and enjoy the spring weather and listen to the birds and try to build up his strength and wanted to check to make sure he didn't have a bladder infection. He told her that he spends most of his day outside and walking. They just don't get it. She didn't think a blood test would do anything to tell us why he feels weak but now we know he doesn't have a bladder infection, just blood in his urine from the radiation. We never thought he had a bladder infection. Oh well.
We will be leaving on Wednesday evening now because they scheduled his PET ct for 10:00 am on thurs. It took a long time to get it approved through Blue Cross so we got what was left. We will be staying at the Kimball, (Thanks Jane and Glen). I will let you know of anything new happening. Love, Jolene
