Another Update

Good morning all!

Last night was a fiasco. He finished with surgery around 10:30, but didn't make it to his room until 12:30 this morning. Mom stayed here last night and Dad is feeling good. He is thoroughly harassing each and every nurse that comes in, so he is in good spirits. He is still on an ice chip diet, and has been unsuccessful in bribing any of the nurses for anything more substantial.
They are planning on getting him up to walk in an hour, but no timeframe on eating.
On a personal note, I am heading back home today, so my reports will be less frequent.
