Ben's Chores

It is Ben's self-appointed duty to take out the garbage and do the laundry. He gets really excited when he sees an empty milk carton on the counter, because he gets to take it out to the recycle bin. He has to take the garbage bag too, but it's a little heavier and harder.

I don't know why, but he loves doing the laundry. It still takes a little supervision. But it's so cute to hear him grunt a little when he's pushing the clothes into the washer, or trying to pull a big handful out. The only problem with this setup is that he goes nuts with the controls. If he had his way, everything would be washed in hot hot water with no rinse, and dried on high heat, and who knows what else. Make sure you always check all the settings before you start anything!
