Boy was it a rough one. But we did survive. The weekend after we just stayed home and tried to recuperate. But the weekend after that, Nick had an itch to catch a fish or two, so we packed up and headed to Bear Lake. The first day, the weather was awful, a regular blizzard complete with snow. No fun fishing in the snow and wind, so we went to Logan to eat steak. Another of Nick's favorites. Isaac had been running a fever all day, so we decided to take him to the doctor. We think it was just a virus now, but he gave us some antibiotics just in case. But good news - the weather perked up on Saturday and it was a nice day. The men went fishing, while the womenfolk stayed home.
Can I just tell you how much Ben loves his cousin Matthew? Well, it's a lot. They caught a few fish, and they were all very happy about it. I didn't think Ben would last very long, maybe a few hours, and they would be home by lunch. But he loved it, and threw a fit when they left. He is a little trooper.
